We recently asked you, our fans, to share your moment of no regret – a moment where you just decided to go for it. Of the hundreds of video submissions we received, nine standout winners were ultimately selected by our Co-Founder, Mike.
Another hop harvest come and gone…
A few years into opening a brewery and things weren’t looking good for Mike and Dave. The business was nowhere near profitable, checks were bouncing and they were forced to start selling non-crucial brewing equipment to make ends meet.
It’s our 20th anniversary and we’re celebrating all year long with artwork, videos, a party and now, an Untappd badge! To earn the ‘Twenty Years, Zero Regrets’ badge, check in two beers (draft, can, bottle) from our year-round lineup between now and October 31. This includes:
It’s that time of the year again… Hop Harvest Week! Our brewing team is heading out to Yakima Valley, Washington to meet with hop farmers, check out this year’s harvest and select the hops we’ll be brewing with in the coming year.
Our single hop ale, Mosaic Promise, showcases two beautiful ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt and now it has its very own Untappd badge!
Hi friends,
As you know, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary this year. We’ve hosted contests, commissioned custom artwork and reminisced about our humble beginnings. But, what would a celebration be without BEER?!
Following on the heels of Deca for our 10-year anniversary, Bolt Cutter for our 15th, we’re happy to share our 20th anniversary beer…
For the third year in a row, Founders employees were asked to submit their portfolios for a chance to create the label for our latest beer brewed to benefit ArtPrize – Green Zebra.
There are few things that our Microbiologist, Wade, will leave his Yeast Lab for and, lucky for us, writing about yeast is one of them! Educate yourself below on the magic that is cryogenic yeast storage from the man himself:
“I kiss her – I say I’ll be back – and I walk down the hill to start selling beer in the craft beer industry and my first kid is born.”
Join us at Celebration! Cinemas this fall for the Founders Film Series, where we pair our favorite movies alongside our favorite beers. This latest series may be our best one yet – check it out below!

For the fifth year, we’re brewing a beer to benefit ArtPrize, an art competition hosted in our hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Previous ArtPrize series beers include Mosaic Promise, Pale Joe, Spectra Trifecta and more. This year, we’re looking forward to exercising our creativity again with a style new to our lineup.
Summer is in full swing and there is no better beer to enjoy it with than All Day IPA. And, now through August 15, you can unlock our Untappd ‘Session Boldly Summer’ badge when you check in one All Day IPA!
Who doesn’t love a good crab cake? Probably no one after they try this recipe for All Day IPA Crab Cakes by our very own Culinary Director, Justin Golinski. From the chef, “The citrus notes in the All Day IPA pair beautifully with the mild flavor of the crab. Couple that with the Matcha-Lime Mayo and you have an appetizer or even a quick dinner option ready to go. Cool? Cool.”
Each September, we return to Yakima, WA, for what is probably every brewer in the U.S.’s favorite time of year – the annual hop harvest. Throughout the course of just a couple of weeks, our brewing team will select new, experimental hop varieties from the many farms scattered across the valley, re-up contracts for some of our heavy-hitting favorites (i.e. Amarillo, Simcoe, Cascade) and meet with the growers who make it all happen, most of whom we call friends. Learn more about exactly what goes on during those weeks here.
On August 19, we are preparing to host our second annual Tribute on the Grand event on the banks of the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids! Because the event is in direct support of Grand Rapids Whitewater, we thought we’d check in with GRWW’s Matt Chapman to see how the project is progressing. Last year’s event raised over $200,000 for the cause!
“I never brew a beer to style. I brew to taste. And this beer tastes really good.” -Jeremy Kosmicki
